I am a trans-disciplinary designer, interested in the space where design and technology meet and affect society. I am process driven, I think with my hands and CNC machines, and I focus on the utilization of new materials and manufacturing processes. To me, thinking and storytelling go hand in hand and are best realized through a culture of co-design and participatory practice in the tactical execution of products and services. I am driven to create a future in which these interactions will be realized responsibly both environmentally/societally as well as commercially.
I hold a BA in Science Technology and Society focused in Bio-Technology and a masters degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. As a participant in the Global Innovation Design program, I studied in Tokyo at Keio Media Design and in London at the Royal College of Art / Imperial College of Engineering.
I am currently freelancing from my studio in Troy, NY.
Please feel free to connect at anytime. I am always looking for opportunities to learn, share, and collaborate.
